We were in Gullivan Bay just off Coon Key at around 25 degrees 53 minutes north and 81 degrees 37.7 minutes west. This is just south of Goodland which is on Marco Island, FL. |

0615 departure from Georgetown. A little chilly. About an hour later we were in the Atlantic. Very rough exit out of the channel and past the jetties. Jimmy at the helm. St. Lucie Lock Balt to Marco - November 2008
Passed Hell Gate and on to St. Lucie Lock. We wait forty-five minutes for the lock to open then probably another thirty minutes while the lock lets in about fifteen feet of water from the other side. |
