"Blew out my flip flop"  J. Buffet

Front blew in last night.  Wind howling, rain, cold.   Had to put away my flip flops and shorts and brought out the foulies.

O'Dark Thirty departure.

Stayed inside due to the small craft warnings and not wanting a beating like we got yesterday.

Things were going well unitl we got into the Alligator-Pungo Canal.  Just as we were blowing past a blow-boat an engine alarm came up "Crankcase Pressure Too High" and immediately we couldn't get more than 1300 rpms.  The best we could do was go about as fast as a fast blow-boat (Go figure.  Bad karma.  Won't disparage them again on this trip)

Chugged along until we made Belhaven, NC.  Worked on the crankcase intake filter and hope that'll fix that deal.  We'll see tomorrow.

Arrived Dowrey Creek  1630

Until then, we're still heading south.
